musical considered by many Sondheim's masterpiece that recently received the UK
revival at the Donmar Warehouse.

In a remote military outpost in 1863 Italy, PASSION revolves around a handsome soldier, Giorgio, separated from his beautiful - but married - mistress, who is shattered and ultimately changed by the unconditional and obsessive love of Fosca, his Colonel's chronically ill, plain and bedridden cousin. Her unrelenting passions force him to re-evaluate his beliefs about love.
